On June 18, the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, with the air filled with the aroma of bamboo leaves and mugwort—the company organized a unique team-building event themed “Sharing Joy Is Better Than Enjoying It Alone” to extend sincere birthday wishes to colleagues celebrating their birthdays in the second quarter and to cheer on all team members working on the front lines.
The event began with a heartwarming opening address by Linda, the HR Director. She noted that “Sharing joy is better than enjoying it alone” has long been a core tenet of the company’s team culture. She explained that while individual joy is fleeting, the joy shared by a group serves as the driving force that propels us forward. The company hopes that every team member feels seen, cared for, and supported on their journey, and encourages everyone to pass on this spirit of “joy through zongzi” to every colleague fighting alongside them.
Amid enthusiastic applause, colleagues celebrating birthdays in the second quarter were invited to the stage to receive everyone’s well-wishes.
Finally, everyone came together to handcraft traditional Dragon Boat Festival souvenirs. Fresh mugwort leaves ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune; gourd ornaments symbolize both prosperity and longevity; and the small Dragon Boat Festival zongzi represent wishes for everyone’s health and smooth journey—as bamboo leaves fluttered and colorful threads weaved through the air, the warmth and harmony among colleagues shone through as they helped one another.
The event concluded in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere. Everyone held up the mugwort-adorned good-fortune gourds and handmade zongzi they had crafted, posing for a group photo to commemorate this afternoon filled with warmth and strength.
